Well done FD!
Just reporting in on the weekends activity:
Sat: 27 mile flatish trundle, only able for a quick snuk out in the afternoon.
Sun: 51 miles of mayhem, out and back to Rhigos, first time we have been able to go over the mountain since early December. So hurrah!!!!!!! 17 ave, so not bad for the terrain, need to get my climbing legs back though!!
Now eating chocolate:thumbup::thumbup:
20miles hilly before work early this morning, between south oxfordshire and west berkshire.
Nice place.
Cheers guys can't wait for Hit the North!¬ I have a feeling it's going to be very tough...
20 miles undulating yesterday in 68 mins - a recovery ride after Box Hill fell race Saturday
anyone else think cycling makes good recovery from hard running efforts?
well i had a very miserable 10k race yesterday (went as a favour to provide company to someone - who got their time, i set off ridicuously fast and did 2 minutes slower than percy pud in december)
had to go for a bike ride to cheer myself up - did 20odd miles, felt like i'd just been out for 3 hours before hand (managed about 12mph!!)
on a plus cycling note - got an entry in the fred!! - eek!
Well done all.
The weather was perfect for a ride today but after getting up at 4 am and going to chelmsford i returned home to a collie dog demanding a run. I did sneak 70 mins flat out on the rollers.
Badger killed me on the 8 mile very hilly run.
Theres just a sign the nights are turning though:thumbup:
and daz said - "let there be light..."
double spin last night - 80 mins of sweaty pain culminating in mild delirium
think I need to turn up the resistance though - not really feeling it in the legs today ....
