There was water at Top Withins last year. Can't remember anything else

Before the start there's hot drinks and biscuits.
At 'The Old Barn' by CP 4 you'll find water, squash, SiS energy drink (thanks SiS!), and biscuits.
At the finish you'll find soup, bread, cake and hot drinks.
The bar is usually open too if you find that beer helps in your post race recovery plan!
The above is what's laid on as part of the organising - anything else will be down to the kindness of the marshals.
Please also note that it is a kit requirement to carry emergency food.

Will be interesting to see how the terrain is compared to last year, where there was still a fair bit of ice and snow.
As one of those marshals - If you ask me nicely I may lay on jelly babies (Question - if a jellybaby fairy eats a jelly baby is that canibalism ? :wink, jaffa cakes etc at Cock hill..........
Is there a half trog this year?
I fancy racing saturday but the full trog is way to far.
Half is later in the year, October I think. Details are on the CVFR website.

Sorry Folks if I haven't got your entry now please DON'T bother posting it as the race entries are closed. AND WE ARE NOT ALLOWING ENTRIES ON THE DAY. The closing date was extended by a week as it is. Food numbers are ordered as are the race dibbers. Looks like the weather forecast has improved. See you all there bright and early on Saturday morning ready for a good day on the fells.
