Bring FULL WATERPROOF WHOLE BODY COVER. That windfarm wasn't built for it's striking looks !

Also, please car-share where possible. Since the last race (2009), double yellow lines have been painted on Ogden Lane and all the way up Syke Lane (the lane opposite the pub). Perhaps forumites could arrange to meet somewhere then share a lift to the venue?

RACE PARKING IS ON THE FIELD TO THE REAR OF THE CAUSEWAY FOOT PUB

The Ogden reservoir car parks will be chock full as there is a walking event on starting at 9-30 - 10-00am ish.

I'm getting train to halifax, then bus from halifax bus station to the race, so parking isn't an issue for me. Got work straight after race, so either train to bolton, or I might go direct to preston, haven't decided yet. Looking forward to race, and snow expected, ooh how exciting.

Its not transport you need to worry about.
You need to read and understand the kit requirments after last weeks statement.

Bike on the train to Halifax then cycle up to Ogden via Ovenden & Illingworth, I know the drill by now,this will be my 6th Ovenden Moor race.
Afterwards quick pint in Causeway Foot then cycle back down to Halifax and a pint or 3 in the Three Pigeons sorted !

a fair bit of snow uphere now going to be interesting be wading through it on the tops at this rate. Seems this race truly reflect winter fell running alright lol
