Good luck chamber34; last year a 4:15 finish would have given 180th in the race and 4:30 280th with 602 runners finishing all told. The defining moment of the race is just how well you cope with the climb up Whernside; its no exageration to say that on reaching the top, you often find yourself surrounded by other runners screaming like babies and rolling around with cramp![]()
