Planned 20 miler went out the window through lack of time, managed to squeeze a 12m/1500ft in though and still feel good after. Dog is asleep now but she's probably done over 20. Cold and claggy ont tops round Crowhill.

How's it going Steve? Hobble in a week or so with Gezza?

Trying really hard to do something about my woeful pace. Tried hill reps and intervals, but my calves REALLY suffer for days after, so have devised a route up, down and around Tegg's Nose and up and down some more that adds up to about 1000' of climb in about 4 or 5 miles (guesstimate). Best time to date is 58 minutes, but the plan is to use this to push myself in a way intervals do. It's a lovely route when the weather's clear and right on my doorstep.

Longer stuff is my bag, but a minimal bit of pace is needed.

Trying to do 15-20 miler each week (and that is enough for our dog), but like you Steve, the time is the limiting factor. Back to working shifts now but still need to carefully balance the work / family / running.

Keep pegging away Simon, Hobble next Saturday with Gezza. Life's a juggling act isn't it. Hope your well mate

14 mile, down Cliviger valley, up over black hameldon, through hardcastle crags, and down to hebden bridge where my lift was waiting.

Walked all the tussocky bits but still did ok. Feel really good now and I'm pizza neutral after last night.

A run of two halves - Greenfield out via Pots n' Pans to Broadstone trig, return via Alderman - dropped both dogs off at home as today they were driving me bonkers....Headed out again from home up past the row of cottages (quick hello to TurboTom) upto to the plantation and back home...great to get out, will be nice to get rid of this sinus infection....

3hr15 off road run, including 1hr 45mins of single track, hilly running in the awesome Castle Eden Dene Ran with couple dudes from the club, and met a host of other club members at the Dene entrance for the planned hill session. Finished up doing the last 5k down a disused railway line in around 17mins Dont know if this was wise having already been running for nearly 3hrs but felt good First marathon training run in the lead up to Edinburgh....bring it on

Just a gentle hour with Ernie this morning.
Not exactly training, just a social recovery run with a hill or two in the middle.

Fantastic morning out on Pendle. Sun out, blue skies, dry underfoot.

    Very busy with runners!

    Nice couple of hours out.

Off to watch Liv v Utd now!
