No substitutions allowed I'm afraid. But can you let Andy know any way so we don't over cater.

Thinking of a run round the second half later in the week if any one is interested.

Could be, as long as we're finished by 2 (school pickup). Can't do Wednesday though.

Planning on doing 2nd half with a club mate (Leeds Rhino) on Friday at a steady pace. He's going to show me the short-cuts! When I did the 2nd half at christmas, visibility was about 30m and I didn't fancy trying to find the route through the peat bogs.

I'm also hoping that it won't be as windy as when I did the first half last thursday.

I think these end of race route choices are great - last week I got it right and saved a couple of mins and about 10 places...

I am not a very good climber. I timed the two versions one day and the down and up was 8 minutes slower. But that was just me!!

Might be a bit early for me - got to fight through the traffic from Leeds. I was also planning on starting in Edale and going up via Hollins Cross (yes, I know you can go up to Mam Nick directly).

You'll have to pay big money to Park in Edale, it's free in the layby! Best way from Leeds is to come off Junct 36 follow 616 come off at Stocksbridge at traffic light go quick right then left(only 30m) up hill down Ewden and up hill to Strines road turn left follow this till you pick up A57 between HPM cp Moscar and Cut throat bridge, easy from there. We could go a bit later but I need to do school run and pack for Kettlewell. If this sounds ok I'll PM you my Mob as You'll go straight past my house so you could follow me.

Any one know how the water stations work? Bottles, cups, bucket? Also is there enough to stop for a few seconds and have a good few drinks.

    Thanks
