Not sure if i will be able to do 3P race as been told to rest knee for few weeks from long stuff! gotta rest for week then start doin 2-3 miles twice a week if pain free. Not sure ill be able to do 3 p with no long runs! If i can get 10r 2 in ill try it.If i did give place up when is cut off point for sum1 to get it? Id rather someone have it than just not run!
    Cheers
told me to rest from long stuff till easter, and only do 10-12 miles b4 then if ok, if i can maybe start doin long uns by 5th i could get 2 in and be ok.

Water at Birkwith, Ribblehad, Hill Inn and Sulber Nick + the becks that have been mentioned. I tend to take one of those small Tropicana bottles with water so I have it if I need it and it does come in handy and weighs only about 250g to be topped up as I go around. I also carry the nuun tablets with me and gels. I mix my nuuns as I go along.
I try to get some one at the Hill Inn to get me a Timothy Taylors ready for my arrival
It certainly helps believe it or not.

I did met him at Ilkley was gonna do it but hurt in warm up , he seems a nice lad! Gettin better but hurt walkin up stairs other day. Gonna have this month off and start slowly again, think BGR is doubtful now, mate doing it- if i cant do it i will run some legs with him. Gonna keep trying but , will only get about 10 training weeks in now b4 BGR- as got 2 week holiday in june. dont wanna get over this and injure it again by doing to much to soon.
Your training seems to be going well. Hope to see you on your attempt, Andy seems to think you will do it. Never been injured before, its frustrating. Good luck with training

What level of training are you up to at present? 10 weeks for BGR seems a very short time unless you're already up to a good amount mileage and climb. Wouldn't want you to underestimate it and crock yourself big style

    last 2 long runs were
    27mile 4k climb
19 miles 5.5k climb, was just starting to get going.
then been off for over 3 weeks. Gonna take it easy to start, see how i get on. will only do it if i ready, if leg not up to it i will just support mates.
