    Yorkshire: One very proud Mallard and her 14 tiny new ducklings (4 yellow, the rest standard brown with yellow patches). She brought them almost to my feet. :closed:

    Lakes: Meadow Pippit, Wheatear, Skylark; they're back at last.

    awww....lovely! Ducklings are so gorgeous and how brilliant that the skylarks are here.

    Grey Seals at the bottom of the road, waiting for the tide to go out for a lounge on the sand banks!

    Lateral thinking wildlife encounter...

    Great run until one of my dogs rolled around in Fox shit (that is the word)... cant believe how much it stinks!

    Saw a roe deer and a hare on this evening's run at exactly the same place that I saw them last time. Also curlews, sandmartins, bats and the primroses are out along the banks for the Ure.

    That is true indeed Steve but I still maintain that fox poo isn't as bad as a dog that's rolled in a dead cat...:w00t:

    I have not had that experience yet, but it may be on it's way and i'll probably agree with when the that day comes, only a dog would roll in an ex-mog (Smelly Poetry)
