Just when you are hanging on in there, coming down off Ingleborough through Sulber and you're dreaming of a pint - it looks like we'll have a stiff headwind just to make it even more unpleasant

Well, very disappointed but there's no way I can line up for this with a chest infection that just won't clear. I'd considered taking in just one or two peaks, but even that would be stupid (and I can't face 'the bus of shame' as a team mate calls it).

Will have to resign myself to being on photo duty again - will be at Ribblehead and Hill Inn, see you all there. Briefly.
