VERY windy and cold women's omnium at herne Hill yesterday... second ever track racing and first ever on an outdoor track. Was interesting, but too much getting cold inbetween short efforts. Think I prefer road racing...
Recovery ride today, in full winter gear, it was wet and windy... made me feel almost like a fell runner again![]()
Yes windy but its just a case of simply riding it out. Great ride today, i reckon about 57miles, even had a cake stop. Some cracking scenery in the peak district.
Heavy rain one minute, sun the next , wind blowing strong.
So strong it could have blown a rider off their bike, very gusty.
Bring it on i say
It wont last much longer.
Stage 2 of The Tour of Wessex 118 miles very lumpy and windy by the coast. Felt stronger but suffered more if that makes sense. 100 miles over Exmoor tomorrow...
