I know this is very late but I've a question.

I've been writing a function for my club website to calculate the FRA cat for a race based on distance and climb. It keeps reporting Holme Moss as a BL, not AL and when I look into it *is* working fine. 17 miles, 4000ft is only 235 feet / mile which means it's a B so why does the FRA class it as a AL on the info page when it's own numbers disagree? Am i missing something which would (hopefully) mean it is an AL?

Yorkshire 3 peaks is also a BL but classed as an AL - I assume it is to keep beginners away as both are tough races.

Know what you are saying / mean - so they are LBs rather than BLs, most of the way to to AL's?!
