    Snigger!

No sofa's.... bikes take up too much room for a sofa to fit

Top speed was 37 MPH which on a MB I think is pretty good.
Would like to give a big alpine pass a crack on a road bike
...and another, this time with a brief Alpine downpour. legs were a bit tired as we'd been up a hill in the morning but really got into it and mashed the pedals.
Even got a cheer as I passed some riders pushing their bike up the last bit.

21 miles for me today. First time out on the roadie for months (probably first time this year?). It all started to go wrong when I got half way round and found the road back was closed for roadworks. Decided on an alternate route and then got hit in the head by something whilst descending a reasonably steepish bit. Not sure if it was insect or a stone. Either way it still bloody hurts!

What ever it was that hit me... it still hurts. Maybe I should go and get drunk and wait for the hangover to kick in to counteract the pain??

You didn't fancy pottering up the Honister Pass then ratty to hand out jelly babies?!?! Hope you're not over exerting yourself and obeying the doctors orders!
You do realise this baby is going to be so used to all the cycling that the only way to get him/her to sleep is to get on the puch bike at 2am!:w00t:
