And that becomes the problem hann. What we think of as proper food . Ie fruit, veg, pasta, rice etc etc etc actually doesnt help. You cannot actually replace all the vitamins and minerals that are lost through food alone if your training hundreds of miles a week . Hence recovery injections and doping. You can only go so far on btead and water.

You are right Daz! Since my friend threw himself up as a coach, I ave lost 5 kilo's and am eating a LOT more than before... I have been feeling tired, but that is not unusual if you work that hard and am perpetually hungry... I do take vitamin and mineral supplements, as well as calcium and iron and do have a protein shake after every ride/race...

Not been ill at all though, and energy levels are high

25 cold wet windy miles, followed by pyramid sets when I got home. Loved every minute of it

Vitamin pills i dont believe in. But the other two ways of taking them i can understand. I studies vitamin uptake rates once.Thats why pro cyclists have to inject with vitamins. I wont mention the other way of taking them. You will already know being a woman.I know someone who use to take vitamin patches as well

Good choice Daz. Big big fan of Paul Smith as I may have already said. Got a number of fine pieces including a rather lovely suit and some nice black dipped brogues. May daily work bag is also Paul Smith had it a year now and it's still as good as new.

Err sadly no as my lad has gone out in it.Thats the usual case. I buy a shirt ( im not telling how many paul smith things i have) and he borrows them. I may see it again in a few weeks, could be months. I dont mind.My philosophy has always been to get something decent and it lasts. Its the same with cycling gear. I know the guys at paul smith, the manager is a roadie, im a roadie, we talk cycling, we get on well. Its a shame that rapha gear is going and they are not doing anymore.
