Yes, I know it's an 'A Long' but I wouldn't class it as a long distance challenge.........unless Selwyn's altered the route dramatically.

actually the top bloke in question is Forumite Amex (steve) and if you follow his thread on the matter you'd know he's been out doing a fair bit of walking and the odd gentle run.
didn't put people off though..........near 300 hardy folk turned up,great views when the cloud lifted.

Very painful, had a shocker coming of Pike O'Blisco, now have a very bruised and swelled right arse cheek. Can just about walk.
Great race mind! Looking forward to having a better go at in the years ahead.
Aye it was :wink: though as someone else has said it was clear weather on all except the last peak.
Looking across the valley descending from Blisco the top of Pike of Stickle was just peeking through the mist absolutely breathtaking!
