I am the one stressed on Sunday!

I did my first 'proper' cross race yesterday and the bike has stopped working :w00t: Cleaned it twice and now doused it with WD40 in the hope that it will work again tomorrow, if not, it needs to go to the bike shop for some major surgery... I definitely need another cross bike, just in case...

Nick won the End2End on Sunday by over eight minutes, so he's in good form.

Indeed, but so is Oldham...

Have decided to take the bike to the local bike shop tomorrow, no point risking it not being 100% so I am taking it to be operated on by the specialists

Am I the only one who has suddenly become nervous? Winning my first 'proper' cross reace hasn't helped easing the nerves... I thought it would, it has made things worse. I am having visions of broken bike, endless punctures, split sidewalls, missing spokes, broken chains and malfunctioning front and rear mech's, broken mech hangers etc etc etc
