Well with hot sun and no rain all week I suppose everywhere will be as dry as we could hope for at this time of year.

Oh Ian, how could they be so heartless? Our need is the greatest surely? They could at least syphon the 'refreshment' into the bottles using a funnel and hosepipe and use a hammer and chisel to fix the tops on. It's not much to ask is it?
I guess I'll have to raid my supplies of ASDA Smart Price lager which I use as slug and snail bait. Will two cans be enough do you think?

Grrr - going to miss probably the only opportunity to do this race in decent weather. Think I've done it 3 times and it's been grotty weather every time - one time in particular, it was disgusting! (desipte superb company of Graham B and Derby Tup). Mind you, I keep going back - it is a brilliant route. Shame about the beer too. Probably best I'm not doing it as no beer = no brownie points at home! Still - he stocked up at Keighley beer festival and Otley is coming up...
IDP, due to the current weather conditions will we be expected to carry full kit or will we be ok with just a pac-a-mac and a hip flask?
I'm not incharge of kit check so take every thing. I would GUESS that just a pertex will do but it is run by the MR rather than a running clubs so they may be sticter, I'll try and find out for you. Andy might be the person to ask as he runs the "race" side of it.
