    Re: Quiet Around Here

It was kind of a cycle/date but did make a very pleasant change from the old running malarky so might try and do a bit more... although I am even worse at cycling up hill than running up hill

How's yer knee calf, are you still cycling lots or have you managed to get back to running a bit?

Right dinner time, think I am going to go and see the jacket potato man, what shall I have on it?

Try one of these OHW, you'll never look back. And in the bargain they're lighter as well. Don't baulk at the expense, a saddle, like trainers is one part where it definitely pays not to skimp on.

They may look really thin & minimalist, they are, but they actually mold to your body contours making them a lot more comfortable. They also flex a lot more.

I think you can get women specific models as well - that's the ones with the cutout in the middle, and they're made slightly wider for your hips. Definitely ask at your LBS about women specific models.

Don't worry about your cycling, the more time you spend on a bike the better you get, and you will also improve running uphills.

Hmm last cycle/date I had (infact most of them) I seem to get stood up.. :-( Mind you there's not many girls who would enjoy riding the kind of stuff I do!!

Thanks allant I will have a look

Maybe if you go on a cycle/date you need to not do the stuff you do normally! Suppose it depends what the situation is, but we just went on a nice little mosey along in the coutryside and then stopped off for a beer in a beer garden... Glad he didn't treat the same as a day out on the bikes with the lads or he would've well scared me off
