You might have the best view where you are. Who'd want to be in the lead in this race

Brilliant race, thanks to marshalls and organisers. The weather was superb, overheating in a vest in mid November!
Enjoyed the meat pie & tea after, but enjoyed the five minute improvement on last year even more.
    Did 'The Hat' enjoy it?

Beat a couple of folk who i don't usually get near today, i must be getting better or something. Had to dash straight off at the end and make a 100 mile detour to return some doorkeys, didn't have chance to get a pie. Cheers organisers and marshals, what a classic race. Mmm, pie.

Cheers to the nice lass who lent me her phone if you're on here.

What a great day! Great organisation, great route, great weather and great pies (sorry Mr Brightside). Only downside was falling a over t into a bog after checkpoint 2. I am sure all the muck slowed me down!

It was a fantastic day. I sank upto my thighs in a bog between Stickle Pike and Great Stickle. That'll teach me to stray from the path. I mad sprint for the finish line, going neck and neck with another chap and unfortunately he just managed to pull ahead in the last fraction of a second. A good dramatic end to a fantastic race. Bring in next year.Mike.
