    Crikey. There's even a picture of me on there (pic 154)... though I don't look particularly happy. I put it down to the fact that it was nearing the end of the race and I was a wee bit sore.

    think you will find mike it was a full second not a fraction of a second, good race thow mike.

    It's amazing what a good, fast start can do for you at that race.

    I go that way and i can promise you it's faster, you have to pick your crossing point carefully and tread lightly.

    sorry mike think ive got the wrong mike, me n mike also had a mad dash for the line 48.55 n 48.56 put 1n1 together n got 3 he was frm blackcombe tho!

    Ah, apologies. You were considerably faster than me then. I would have been faster but... well, I'm not that fit. I know who you're on about though. I'm in Black Combe too and go running with Mike a fair bit. He's pretty damn quick.
