I bow down to your obviously far superior metal knowledge....!!!

And The Stone Roses. (ducks for cover)
Agree with all of them. Give me Alice in Chains over Nirvana any day.

Go on then Danbert, just for you

    Classic

And you can't beat a bit of Cutty Ranks

Especially with the Black Flag 6 pack bass line!

Being a punk and roots fan, are you into Bad Brains?

Give me Toots and the Maytals for my uplifting reggae fix all the time eavesy - Bad Brains are too hard core for me i'm afraid. I'm more of a Congos man.

er... Genesis and Queen spring readily to mind
and since Dubbintooth had more than 3, I'll add Iron Maiden and Def Leppard

re Zep - everyone's entitled to an opinion of course - I have a few friends (fellow rock fans) who never liked Zep - one who never liked Sabbath :w00t:
tbh I don't listen to Zep much these days (although Babe I'm Gonna Leave You did pop up on my MP3 player this am)
    Sabbath a little bit
the 70's band I still listen to most is ACDC - probably cos their music is so simple that it doesn't date
Love AC/DC, timeless straight ahead rock.
Love this performance, Angus Young tearing shit up for an audience of complete stiffs, apart from one headbanger having the time of his life.
