I dont do early starts if I can help it, ha. So I didnt start trotting from the Cat & Fiddle until 10:15am. But that seemed to work well as it give time for the mist around Flash to burn off. I kept on the road all the way until the U turn of the main road that leads you over the cattle grid back to C&F and then took a beeline for the Axe Edge trig. Not sure if that was a bad idea or a good idea, it seemed to work ok. I like your idea of getting the road done first Dale. Yeah we will book a run in then for next year. As you said good training for the Lakeland series....and yes defo 2 laps for you! ha
Splits were 31:40 Shuttlingsloe, then 49:57 to Roaches, 57:26 to Axe Edge, 22:47 to Burbage, 37:11 to Shinning Tor (3hrs 19mins running time at this point), then the 10minute run in.
