Had forgotten about this race... Did it 2 years ago as my first long off-road race. Really bonked 2/3rds of the way around but dragged myself to the end... I wonder how it'd be now?

This sounds like my run at The Trigger. I've just popped my entry in the post, so I'm hoping for a bit of redemption before I tackle the High Peak Marathon...

I'll have words with my secretary. Just can't get the staff these days. Mind you, I don't think the marriage contract covered race organising. I know I said something loving him during sickness and health, but I'm not so sure I'm committed to love during stupidity and incompetence (But just in case he reads this I'd better note that I still do ).
