    Re: Forum Champs

Thanks Daz, that makes sense. And I'd better run a bit faster on Sunday then, to get a few more points for my January score!

ooo I'd like to join this please and for January I could also use the capt cooks fell race on 1st Jan http://www.eskvalleyfellclub.org/res...1-Jan-2012.pdf
If my calculations are correct, then the winner got 1938 seconds and I got 2160 seconds, which I think equates to me getting 89 points? woop

I will declare my intention to run High Cup race for feb

    Re: Forum Champs

you don't have to declare races in advance, just makes it a bit more interesting/sociable

you just have to declare results by 5th of following month

(we're still waiting for IDP to declare his Trigger result...)

I did a long training run today, so no Tigger Tor for me tomorrow, so no points for January - never mind, all my best performances tend to be in the shorter summer evening/festival/show/carnival races anyway :closed:

    TheReverand: 89 (High Cup Nick)
    Stolly: 76
    zephr: 76 (Kinder Trial)

Hes: 64 (probably the Beacon Race, High Cup Nick?, Commondale Clart, Fellsman...will add more when I know what I'm up to)
    manothemoors: 64
Eleanor: 55 (Kendal Winter League; Blake's Heaven January; Reston Scar February; maybe Black Combe March; Causey Pike March; Loughrigg April; Three Peaks April

    Re: Forum Champs

Well I had a much faster run today at Birkrigg (Winter League) so I'm looking forward to seeing the results and calculating my points, to hopefully get my January score higher (I can do that, right, substitute points from a different race for January!?).

I tried to take my own advice (that I give to the Juniors) to get a fast start and hang on, don't relax, and the motivation of more forum points kept me going back up to the trig point - normally I stop and walk but not today! Great day (my Juniors did fabulous today as well, so happy all round)

4h19m for Thats Lyth today, nice run in some good conditions, could even be a PB for me but not sure what the fastest time was - did anyone else go and if so do you know? (Suspect about 3hours or so but I'll ask around).
