    A cumbersome off road six miler through Alkrington Woods. Yesterday was definitely still in my legs (which felt like tree trunks.) Glad i got out though.

    got a bus to the grouse pub on the hayfield glossop road and ran back following the kinder trog route to southead turned left down beet lane in to chinley as weather was worsening then along the old tramway to buxworth back over the fields to whaley bridge windy on the tops only saw 3 other people and they where runners

    track session

    10 x 400
    10 x 200
    and about 15 laps steady
    too bloody windy
    long jumpers was doing okay though

    I've tried long jumpers but I still prefer my Helly Hansen.

    10 miles (road) steady pace.

    A rather uninspiring run - had to keep backtracking around the streets to get the distance in. Getting notably lighter now though, soon be out in the countryside again.
    Intervals tomorrow night.

    40 mins on the road very very very very very slowly. 10 reps of a steep but short hill and spent the whole 40 mins holding my right ribs

    Just trying to not lose too much fitness but not sure its really doin me any good.

    Daz - didnt you say you ran with your hand supporting your ribs when you crunched em?

    yes a johnns
    held my ribs on one run for 10 miles and was in serious pain
    dont worry you will keep your fitness if your doin that much already
