A nice 10 miles up Cut Gate along to Margery Hill and High Stones and back. Very Icy, lethal in places! One mysterious paw print. No Human prints within 20 yards, and heading off into the moors away from any path.
It is the lack of claws pints that we found curious.Attachment 5689

Chased by some long horn cattle today near Fox House , really scary and very icy. They were after the dog who I have off the lead anyway , trouble is he sticks to me like S**t to a blanket so that left me in the firing line . Lots of shouting and arm waving while backing away all the way to Stoney Ridge Rd about 400 meters to the ladder style , don't mind admitting it was scary. Ruined my route

Fairfield Horseshoe from Rydal. Rydal side was crisp icey snow which suited micro spikes but the return leg had some deep snow that was soft enough to sink into. Very hard work (for a slow un like me).

Aye. Me and a friend did the Trig this morning. Pretty much moonwalked up and ice skated down. Slowest run ever but great
