Does this mean another ( keeping everything crossed that no's can be increased for E Skyline) online entry for which I may be unsuccessful - have entered having been up there for the New year & bearing in mind Jebby's dictum that you're not a fell runner until you've done the Ben - thought it's about time I got up to the summit of Britain no less.

Not necessarily - I think it probably just means they have already received 600 (and probably more) entries. Hopefully mine (and yours) are among the first 600 but we wont find out until they put the list on the website - usually a week or two at least.
    (Edit)
BUT - the entry form is still on the website, so he might just have meant that it is always oversubscribed and they expect it to be again.

I've been banging on at them for a while to get over. Bit soft most of them.

Best value race I did last year was Blisco. It was free entry (or maybe just a quid) but ended up with a crate of ale for finishing 30th. My mate came 40th and he also ended up with a crate of ale !!

As for the Ben I reckon by the time the Scotts have their own parliament there will be a 'crossing the border' fee (arriving AND returning!) well in xs of the already extortionate race entry fee. :w00t:

You could try moving to Cumbria, some of us are considering throwing our lot in with Scotland which for the northern half of the county at least would only be re-establishing the border where it used to be. London - strange and distant place at the far end of the country. Edinburgh - friendly place just up the road a bit.
