    Re: Forum Champs

The calendar gives the first race of the year as Auld Lang Syne, despite it being in December. Does this mean I can claim it as January

Also shame I can't count a PECO xc league Result as well (as it would give me over 90), but seeing as they're not officially timed and are only for participating clubs it just doesn't fit in. Never mind eh

    Re: Forum Champs

These are rough times for Reston Scar so will correct them when the results are put up!

Winner (Rob Jebb): 54ish minutes = 3240 seconds
    Me: 77 minutes = 4620 seconds

    100-((4620-3240)/3240) ~ 58%

Won't be winning this month then...

Results now up on Reston Scar. Rob Jebb 52:16. Me 1:21:26. Hmm, hardly worth working that one out! 4886-3136 =1750. 1750/3136 = 0.558 gives me a fabulous 44. Think I'll stick with my previous February result.

    Re: Forum Champs

At last I found a short race that the whippet Jack Ross (Staffs Moorlands) didn't do, so better score from last night's Dark 'Un. Therefore a 76 for Feb for me as I don't think tomorrow's New Chew scoreless will beat that.

Rob F - nice try! but no sympathy from me, as I'm not going to be able to count Grindleford Gallop or Four Inns (let alone the flat road half marathon I did last week! )
I am writing off January and February, but hoping to kick-start my season with a half-decent score at Cloud Nine as it is my kind of race (not too long, not too hilly)

Sam H - you were doing yourself a dis-service - I've looked at the results and worked out your score to be 69!

Ah cheers Daz, don't know where I got my time as being 77 minutes from! My watch stopped on the day so that probably explains it...

Ilkley moor fell race results work out better for me than Rombalds. Winner (Tom Adams) was 36:18 and my time 45:58, works out at 73 points. Need to try harder......

    Re: Forum Champs

I did High Cup Nick and Commondale Clart this weekend but I know my points for HCN are around 50ish and I doubt that my Clart points will be more than my Danby Beacon results so I may well stick with what I've got...will see when the results come out.
