Oh my this has made me chuckle. No wonder my sense of humour often falls on deaf ears. I didn't realise I was talking to a bunch of Grandpa's lol ;-)

Going back to the original point... If I may...

Approaching inov8 3 times with falling apart shoes, I have had nothing but politeness and promptness from their responses. Always happy to listen, send a photo of the shoes in a an email (include the tread to show how much/little they've been used) and wait for a reply. 3 replacement pairs later - a happy customer without bad language or blasphemy - and bad grammar - you're NOT your! Any 15 year old doing GCSE English should know this.
The original forumitte needs to have a good cup of tea - in my opinion. I might do so myself.

In fairness to the OP, even though Inov 8 may well change the shoes its still a PITA to keep taking them back tot he shop every month or 2. I'd understand if he was paying £40 or so, but the best part of £100 this sort of thing should be the exception rather than the norm.

Well that was hilarious. Brightened up my Monday. Especially Mr Brightside's piccy.

I've had 15+ pairs of 330s or 333s as they are now with no problems. There are bound to be a small percentage of duff pairs of any make of shoe that get through the manufacturing process but that is the trade-off between cost and reliability.

It is the exception. At fell races and mountain marathons look how many people are wearing Inov8s. A conservative guess would be 70%. If they always fell apart after a month or two this wouldn't be the case. I work selling off-road shoes and see proportionally no more or less Inov8s returned than any other brand (La Sportiva, Mizuno, Salomon, Walsh, etc). In all brands it's a very, very small amount that come back. The fact we hear more complaints about Inov8 on here is probably because 1) there appears to be a small but dedicated group of posters who enjoy sticking the boot* in to Inov8, and 2) there are probably loads more Inov8s worn by forumites than any other shoe.

*preferably a PB Elite boot, hand-crafted by a gritty Lancastrian in the mid-70s, on its sixth resole, uppers still looking like new

Hey! - I've got a pair of the PB Elite boots (first sole though). How dare you criticise the wearers of such shoes. This forum is full of OAPs etc etc etc .repeat ad infinatum. Sorry - Just Kidding.
