Yet another heroic 8 mile run on a hemorrhaging leg wound
This bog (where both hit a submerged rock) is going to need a nick name.....
On a serious note I will go up there to look at it - don't want any more injuries like this

I reckon you hit that bog (with hidden rock) at 7 miles - to run a further 8 miles with 2000 ft ascent and finish 5th (and there by secure the 1st team for Wharfees) was heroic stuff.
And you want to come again next year!!!???
    Thanks Trig
Not sure if its heroic or stupidty if i'd of looked at it properly earlier I might of stopped??
Only six stitches and lots of stere srips.
Need to take a club with you to that bog to hit what ever is in there over the head!!!!

Blimey guys, there's some nasty looking war wounds going on. I might have to wear shin pads when I come next year (haven't been yet). What did the docs/nurses have to say about running 8 miles on an exposed shin bone Nick? Usual grumbling?

Hope that was nt queues of injured fell runners
I'm glad the new temporary stile was nt the cause of any injury - a local cabinet maker gave his time free to build it (with me labouring) - hoping that it helped to aleviate last year's bottlenecks - did anyone remember using it / seeing the race at this point? I was nt able to get down there to see how effective (and safe!) it was. Any feeback on the temporary stile appreciated.........

Thank's to all that helped me on Sunday (other runners -Ray Green, CVSRT) it would of been a great race if it was not for that bog!
