I was the slightly pink and out of breath person with him. I think we spoke briefly on the last bit of the climb.
    Well done to Rhys!

Yes we did have a wee chat nice to meet you!
One reason for a wearing a bright pink top is it detracts from the bright pink cheeks but I'm guessing that's not for everyone

That's because I was always near the back.

Course I have. I don't live for this forum Daleside! I have better things to do with my time!

I wouldn't know what it looked like as I just got down it as quick as I could. Good job we could only see 10 feet ahead of us!

I heard the golden rule is.......... When you're lost anything is fine as long as you don't ask a walker for directions

err if you look closer the one with the white vest and red band looks completely at ease and is clearly facing in the correct direction that the rest of the group should be heading

That looks like the place where I was on my own. Having been left behind on Scafell Pike when the group split in two. Fortunately I had my compass with me and the map instructions told me to go back to the col and then descend the ravine NW. So that is what I did and two kind gentlemen (Huwski and Daz) met me as they came back looking for me. Thanks guys.
So the answer to your question is that you are on the descent from the col between Broad Crag and Scafell Pike on your way down to the corridor route! If I am wrong my excuse is that it was very cloudy at the time and I've been in the pub for the last 3 hours watching Tim Henman!
