The streams are quite dry at the moment, the odd brown dribble!
It's a tough job being R/O as everyone sees things from different perpectives when we consider kit and safety in races. Hopefully, FRA rules alllow the kit carried to be appropriate for the actual conditions on the day. If the forecast is to be believed, it looks like a very warm and almost windless day, where sun protection and extra provision of water would offer better protection to runners than carrying uneccessary kit.

Well, so I keep hearing. I passed so many people on my way up Lose Hill last year who were clearly all thinking that too. Most of them never caught me up again...

Aye, 6km much easier than 34km. Ironically the niggle keeping me out of Edale has now settled down nicely.

Just back from marshalling by crookstone, absolutely beautiful day out there! Think I got a couple of good photos of forum dwellers (daz, green flash) but mostly had my hands full with a toddler. Pics to follow this evening
