Running out of jokes as well as time eh?

I think Ian sums it up quite well. If Man Utd get 3 points at Blackburn they could be 6 - 8 clear by end of April - can't see City getting maximum points at Newcastle, Arsenal and Norwich. 5 points from them would be a decent return, but not enough under the circumstances.
Then it looks like they will have to beat Man Utd as well - as bad as some think they are, they have the momentum, the experience and won't be easy for City.

That pretty much sums it up!

As others have said though we got robbed against Newcastle by a late penalty.. you get them..

You grabbed a point against Stoke by a lucky deflection..

We got denied a ball to hand penalty last night earlier on.. you got awarded a ball to hand penalty against Chelsea..

Over 38 games the best team wins the league..

I think you mean that we were denied a win at Stoke by virtue of a "can't legislate for" nail-on Goal Of The Season

A] Tax break for Premier League players after 2013 as a result of budget.

    = £70m.

B] Total school sports budget until 2013.

    = £68m.

Maybe this should have been on the budget thread but as its football related thought I'd share. I'd love to know if this figure is true, been given it by a Senior Teacher at my school.

Dunno, but wouldn't it be great if we could just persuade the premier league players to donate the money in a philanthropic gesture. Stranger things have happened!

United are like a boxer now, looking for the bell.

They have punched themselves to a standstill in a bid to keep up and have little left.

As long as we do our job, we will be champions.

I know.. but the fact is 6 games 6 wins..

    http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/m...orm-guide.html

I think both teams are stumbling and tired.. its why the return of Tevez's energy is so crucial.. and why Valencia is our best player at the moment...

If we can get 85+ then we've had a good season.... its quite incredible that after all the investment and record breaking start to the season, United have daylight at the top. Just being here now is probably one of Fergie's greatest achievements.. no other man in football could get us here.. 73 points from 30 games.. almost 2.5 points a game...

At the end of the Bradford vs Crawley match last night.

The Crawley manager described it as "handbags".

I think you got the clubs the wrong way around there! 4 points from 9 and lucky to get away with 3 of them. You could have done with the bell in February.

If we want to use a boxing analogy I'd say that the the Ali - Foreman Rumble in the Jungle is apt.

City are looking like the victims of a Fergie "Rope a Dope"
