    Re: Trunce

Isn't this the best race of any kind anywhere in the entire world? Having done them all (ahem).... I rather think so.

Enjoyment marred only by IanDarkpearker still beating me to the line after his exertions on Sunday. Wish I hadn't fed him jelly babies and water at Mam Nick now. ES'ers should be banned from any Trunce taking part the following day.

The Plantar Platypusitis was masked nicely by adrenaline after the 1st mile but boy I'm paying for it today.

Great turnout of 42 from my Tri Pansy Club 1 of which has some mighty impressive self abuse looking marks on his left forearm resulting from an altercation with some barbed wire at the exit to the 2nd crossing. I saw it in time and was able to give back word but looks like it claimed some victims. Needs looking at/covering me thinks for the next outing on 16th April.

Need the puddles to be full and the river to be high again for the full on Trunce experience.

Great job Plumbum and BTW you really don't need a loud haler!!

Top new website Kingsnail - very user friendly even for an IT numptie like me.

Roll on 16th.......aren't you all glad that you don't live daarn sarff?

Will take a look at the barbed wire on the exit of second crossing and do something with it.

As announced on the night the excess money from the race (£230) will be donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in memory of Maria Micklethwaite.
Together with the collection that was hung on the van door (£37.10) there will be £267.10 added to the collection jar in the Huntsman at Thurlstone which will all go to the Air Ambulance at the end of the month.

    Re: Trunce

It looks (from Richard Asquiths pics) and sounds like I missed out big-style

Looking at the results, it seems that we had 13 attendees, with a highest time of 29:17

With due regard to the results, it may be just me, but.... there doesn't appear to be the option of getting the 'Senior' results (as in previous years)
    'All' now incudes the Juniors.

Could this feature possibly be addressed please?

Thankyou indeed, it's now a bit easier to understand with the Seniors all together (& no juniors in same listing)

Have just been on to Just Giving web for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Maria Micklethwaite page and donated a total of £800 which is £280 from Trunce 1 and £520from the Huntsman, Thurlstone's charity jar. Well done all and a big thank you to all that donated.
