Did it last year but am up in Skye this weekend so I'm going to have to give it a miss. Shame as it was great fun!

The pub's shut! The race registration is at the community hall and apparently the route is still the same as usual. Shame as I always enjoyed the presentation in the beer garden - always seemed to be a nice day for it!

Great race, really enjoyed it, thanks to the organisers. Little climbs but nasty, I seemed to be doing a lot of walking! Hands up all those with scratches from the bushes on the way down!

Great day, I thought I'd got fitter over the winter until I did this race
There were a few people taking pictures around the course, anyone know if they're on the web anywhere yet?

Great race yesterday. The pace up front was quite high.

I won the race in 2010 in 51:17 and won it last year in 52:07 (having missed the stile on the foot of Gamelin on the descent) but only lost a handfull of seconds!! But I was 4th yesterday with 49:11!!!!!! and only 40 seconds seperating the top 4, and the runners that made the top 10 werent hanging round either.
It really makes a difference to your time when your chasing a fast leader.

The photos are up on my wife's site www.clicclic.co.uk (she does a lot with Al Tye of fell running pictures) they were taken as you entered the tarmac descent off the track.

Results are up on the Tattenhall & WFRA sites.

Ifan, can you remember what the conditions were like in '10 & '11? It was pretty much perfect for running on Saturday, I'm sure that coupled with a good quality field this would help lead to excellent times. I last raced it in '07 & it was proper hot - vests off from the start - there are few hotter places than the Llantysilio Motorway.

    Your wife's photos are great.
