If this weather continues we could be in for an interesting river crossing or two safety rope at the ready.

Might drive over tomorrow morning and have a look at the crossing. I'll take the camera and post some pictures/movie so newbies will know what to expect.

Ian, this picture is on our Clubs FaceBook page, but with no credits to state who took it, I have to presume that it's been taken yesterday, or today???

I will be there. Hoping for 10 pts as no one else in my cat turns up ;-). Then I though, that's not going to happen as everyone else is just as nuts. New inov8s will be tied on tight :-)

    Re: Trunce

Just been down to football field and there is a river running across it. Wet weather parking tonight as the field is not capable of taking a lot of wheels. PLEASE try to car share and park VERY close on the hard standing at the entrance to the football field. There is a part of the old road at the bottom of Bower Hill, the road opposite the Wagon and Horses, that is tarmac and will take quite a few cars. There is also a small car park at the kiddies play area opposite the end of Roughbirchworth Road. PLEASE DO NOT park in the Wagon car park, the Landlord, quite rightly, doesn't like his pub to look full when it isn't. I will be putting ropes out to assist you tonight. Please be careful.

A couple of still from this lunch time. Expect it to be thigh deep for you tall boys and tackle wetting for you shorties. The white foamy bits are the Stepping stones.....
Now who said a few weeks ago that the river crossing were nothing to shout home about.
