Yeah, I was being a bit tongue in cheek earlier :wink: I've been down most variants of Halls many times in many weathers and it can and does get tricky (I had similar conditions to yourself on my round and actually fell quite a few feet in the dark). The variant talked about on here is one i've used for years and the one i prefer in wet conditions.
