On a dark night in thick clag... probably not actually!
The traverse line isn't too hard to find when you can see where you're aiming for (personally I tend to bash further on down the big scree/soil slope before cutting across hard left, rather than taking the grassy spurs per Hank's description).
But in poor vis conditions it'd be a disorientating patch of hillside with a high risk of getting badly stuck on steep ground. You'd want to be *very* sure of your knowledge of the line to go that way... I'd take one of the ridges for sure.
