You certainly can, except this year it's not the main hall, it's the sports hall, which might possibly be a bit quieter. It won't be any softer though.

Some of the staff softies bring caravans (me), don't think that's allowed for entrants, sorry.

What? You're not sticking around for a Fellsman cooked breakfast?

What idiot suggested you should enter at this late notice? I'm saying nothing as I'm sure you'll make the right decision. See you Saturday.

    Ha Ha Simon!

Are you going to Upper Wharfedale School first thing and then getting the coach to Ingleton? Also, thinking about shoe choice with the ground as saturated as it is - fell or my mizuno wave harrier trail shoes?

If only u could get fell wellies ! Yes tt I'm getting coach from threshfeild and crashing in hall sun morning no 80 so say hello :-). I'm going for wave harreirs myself abit too long on my feet for fell shoes and there's track and road which all adds up to stiff calfs for me personally besides not sure wether after all this rain grippy shoes would be and issue as said by stolly wellies :-)

No, driving up and back to Threshfield from Leeds on Friday night for kit check, then going straight to Ingleton on Saturday morning. Seems to be the solution that gives me most time in bed.

I'm going for my INOV8 roclites (but not the old pair that I put a fork through when digging my allotment). I've done most of my winter running in them and they seem to be good for long distance and mud/snow plus the water drains out of them quickly. Might carry fins & a snorkel for fleet moss!
