Agreed, I was more than a little worried by being tailed off Blea Moor by a figure with enormous blue hair!

A guy in my group has (since the event) told me of tall black guy wearing leather jacket and flares with a 70s style afro. He appeared across Middle Tongue every time I checked the map. I am certain this was not one of the organisers and, as the guy who saw him fell in to a deep sleep at Cray, I think he was definitely a product of exhaustion. Did any one else see this magical 'pimp' character on Middle Tongue? I can't imagine the flares would have been effective in the tussocks :-)

Quite a few of the drivers spotted him too, we may take his idea ( in his honour , of course) and maybe go for rainbow colours one year. I think he has done the fellsman in previous years too.
And Livi , you are right any excuse for a dress-up will do, although the fellsman is a bit unusual.

That was our Stu. He even appeared in the Grough report. It would have been perfect for slowing wind speed and promoting head warmth.
