If you're heading back eastwards there'll be a fair few runners and helpers going to the Collie at Cadole. Up a narrow lane by the small newsagents opposite side of the road to the Loggerheads pub but closer to Mold.

I'll most likely head to the Goldie at Llangynhafal.

Thanks, think I'll give it a miss and do the Trog at the weekend.. I think we did some of those descents in the relays, I can do steep descents but only slowly.

Cheers, I'll pop in there before the long trek back to darkest Lancs then...

Great little race tonight; thanks very much to Martin and the marshalls! (sounds like a 60's pop group!) A bit disappointed in my performance but still recovering from the Berwyns I think. Met some nice guys from Wrexham A.C. too so all in all a good night!

Agreed: a good time was had by all I think. Mind you, one of our club landed face down in the mud crossing the stream, & our chairman finished walking rather than running. The only reason he wasn't limping was that both his legs were as bad as each other. It got him a spot prize though. By the way, if your avatar reflects your t-shirt then that was me passing you on the last long downhill!

Well done, all. Looked like a great race from where I was standing (which was the top of Moel Y Gaer). Beautiful evening and wished I'd been racing but I'm on a taper and it woudn't have been right. Great watching a race unfold from a marshalls perspective, though.

Aha! It does, and you did then! Well done, tried to catch you up but legs were complaining too much. Despite using cyclist Jens Voigts tactics (shouting "shut up legs!" at them), they wouldn't respond.

Yep another good one, nice one Martin, Brutal route, we had a few first time fell runners out from the club last night. Surprisingly, most of them are promising to come back for more.
