Just after a further bit of advice. I've only done a few fell races, this one looks to be the first wet one I'll be doing.

I have a waterproof/windproof jacket. But when it comes to bottoms I only have a pair that are wind proof but only water repellant, I'm guessing these wont be any good? Or can I still wear shorts and carry these round with me in my bag if required?

I just dont want to come over and them not being suitable etc...

    Bring your windproof bottoms Damien.
Waterproof bottoms with taped seams would be a good purchase for future races though !

No, but it did put the madness into midsummer (especially as I legged it through streams that were once paths, as air raid sirens sounded the alert to abandon Hebden Bridge)
Well done Bill and the team - loved every minute of it!
Sorry I missed the results - anyone know who won / how I did???
See you all tomorrow - heard its going to be hot and sunny all day:w00t:
