We noted your absence IDP...was a warm one out there. Well done to Dave the Fell Running Guide on his win, and to all those who ran - especially those who ran this as their very first fell race - good on'yer! We had a great evening providing sports massages to many runners, always good to see friends and new faces. There was plenty of advice on injuries and rehab given too - any questions just drop us a line as always.

thanks to Mr Wing and his band of helpers who organised the race, good job, good flapjack and a bonus having icecream on sale on such a glorious evening.

A great evening in lovely but sticky conditions. this has to be one of the best mid week races in the Peak, brilliantly organised and a great and challenging course. good to see The V 50's up there too an outstanding effort from DN second overall I think?
Thanks to mark and his team for all there efforts.

    Hope fell race

Thanks corniceman. Concidering the weather today we were very lucky not have had thunder and lightning. Thanks for you help and good to see your kids doing running so well.
Many thanks to all who ran. See you next year.

Some more thanks from a runner. This was my first "North of Watford" fell race and I had a great time. Lovely views from the top (for a fraction of a second) and some nice beers in the Old Hall Hotel afterwards.

I didn't get my time afterwards (I was too slow to be on the first two sheets of results), will they be on the site in a bit?

    Thanks to everyone involved,

    Matt

A delightful race, shame I didn't actually run this one.
Well done to Dave for the win, did anyone actually see Jack and the other guy get back to the finish at any point, or are they still running around Winhill?

Here's what I was doing instead.

A race from a non-racers perspective. Its a new one on me!

    Re: Hope fell race

Arrived 1 minute before kick off so just enough time to run from the car, grab a number and straight in.
I felt like I was running well but finished significantly slower than last year and much further down the field so obviously not!
Never mind though I still thoroughly enjoyed it, and love the route.
Thanks to all involved with organisation and marshalling.
