Brilliant end to the stage yesterday I thought. You could really feel how painful those last few hundred metres were for that leading group. The Quick Step rider who so nearly had it in the bag, but who ran out of everything so close to the end. More exciting for being in 'slow motion' I thought. (Not more exciting than a Cav sprint, but exciting in its own way!) Great stuff from Voeckler.

I'm a big fan of the ITV4 cycling crew, Ned and the gang, but the two main commentators are pretty painful at times.

Yes, very impressive. Digging unbelievably deep it seemed. You could really get a feel for it.

More needle from Nibali today towards Wiggins - he really doesn't like him, eh!?
I've got to say, I've seen riders conduct themselves more graciously (than Wiggo) when leading the early stages of a Tour.

PS. this might already have been agreed / understood, but I take it this is a NO SPOILERS thread.
i.e., no comment on the day's racing until the next day?

Exciting days riding, I really had no idea what was going to happen till they reached the finish, luckily a good result for Sky - today.
I cannot get to grips with why those guys want to do it, it all looks horrendous. First week full of crashes and riders continueing with broken bones, and now slogging up those ridiculously steep and long mountains and risking death coming back down the other side. Potty, the lot of them.

"He must have got his yo yo from a cheap shop" is another classic for the long list of Ligget commentary gold
