I have gone quiet on here since things went pear-shaped at Whaley Waltz - what should've been "banker" points for me were kiboshed by Si Bailey turning up and breaking the course recordGood luck on the Macc Forest 5. The Wizard 5 tonight in Alderley Edge (put on by Wilmslow) would be another good 'un to go for. I did it last year and it was ace.
For July my events are Osmotherley Phoenix, White Peak Walk (they do allow runners), Gravy 6 (possibly) and Lakeland 50. Points from Osmotherley work out at 47 (me 7:21, winner 4:48). I think I'll hold off until after WPW on Saturday in the hope of something a little better.

well I've done 4 races this month but the best is my 7th place in the Trunce won by Shaun Dimelow, all the others were won by Andy Swift who came second in this race?
any way my time was 27.54 and Shauns 25.54
giving me a respectable 93% whoop. still got more races to come including another Trunce
Not sure if I should include my only 'race' this month as I ended up only doing the 26 miler at Osmotherley Phoenix. Looking at winner's time - if he'd kept up same pace for the remaining 7 miles he'd have finished outside the top 10 of the 33, about 25 mins down, while (and an even bigger if) if I kept the same pace I would have finished in 7.17 with 48 points as opposed to the 60 points I'd get based on 26 mile results alone - winner 246 mins, me 345 mins.

I've had other races with similar points though.
IDP is the first to register 7 scores - I've put his January score in brackets to indicate that it has been "dropped" from the calculation of his total - of course he is still free to try to improve on 93 this month!
Multiterrainer - dont' see why we can't allow your 60 points!
I registered 55 points at Macc Forest on Wednesday evening - although this is my best score of the year so far, I was disappointed with my time and am thinking that maybe short races aren't my forte atm... so I'm going to try a couple of Mediums to see if I'm any better at those! (namely Turnslack & Crowden Horseshoe)
