First time at this one for me. Really enjoyed it, especially that lovely brutal climb. Saw WP and daughter on the way round too.

A fabulous race and, although I went into it saying I wasn't going to push it, I of course did..... with knobs on! I was absolutely gasping to get air in by the turn at the trig but soon forgot all of that on the humdinger of a descent (all the years I've been running up there and I didn't know that throw yourself off the side line off the top). I was kind of trying to break the one hour mark but fell well short of that at 61:54 minutes

Great race and perfect conditions. The grassy descent was great fun and I managed to stay on my feet for once. Think I did about 68/69minutes, am happy with that.
First time for me, really enjoyed it, results now up on the gala website, you search for your number first then the result is to the right! 38th in 61:10, a decent result, should probably have broke the hr mark tho, oh well, always next year! http://www.ingletongala.org.uk/Ingle...eniors2012.xls
An enjoyably tough one in ideal conditions. Just a bit f***ed off with poor position...but no excuses!
