I didn't get down til gone 6 and it seemed pretty peaceful....

Really enjoyed the race - my first time in Snowdonia and it certainly won't be my last I hope!

Wish it would have been a bit cooler though - I really struggled to get going (probably ran the tarmac bit too fast up) due to the heat, and my HR just kept spiking every time I tried to push! Settled down after I passed the Halfway station and started to enjoy it from there. Was a bit worried about the rockiness of the descent, but had no issues and just flew down the top, then hit the heat again with about 2miles to go and started to blow a bit. The last half mile along the road through the village seemed to go on forever! I expected about a hundred people to pass me, but I think only one did!

Managed to take all the skin off my heel though - after getting it to blister nicely under the heel pad doing Skiddaw, all the dead skin decided to come loose during the race, which was nice! Great fun running 5miles downhill of rocky terrain with that! Still, it doesn't hurt too much now........

Do we know how Ms Brown aka Browndog is?

She's up here in Yorkshire Han.
We take good care of her, we are looking after Pedwar in a couple of weeks when she's off running in abroard. Ernie still likes being with his big mate.
