    Fact - 111 runners there last Saturday.

    Fact - Burnley parkrun is actually doing really well and continues to attract new runners week on week.

    Opinion - Anything that encourages people to get off there backsides and get fit has to be a good thing.

    PS - It's the 2nd anniversary at Oldham tomorrow. Why don't you come along for a run and a free bacon butty with us tomorrow multi coloured, you'd love it? :thumbup:

    i think the park runs are a superb idea, like you say Danbert it's get's everyone from all walks of life jog, run, walk sprint! you can use it as a speed workout, a social run or go for your PB! best though is that it's FREE!

    really? you seen who runs round these little runs lately?
    the great yorkshire show got cancelled for the 1st time because of the weather as well, so park runs are in good company!

    Next new one in Leeds look like being at Middleton Park, close to South Leeds Stadium....Leeds Athletics Network working with City Council & others hoping to get it off the ground before the end of the year.
