It's the gold which makes me proudest to be British. The fact a lad can come from a war torn country as a child and be give the opportunity to become Olympic Champion says a huge amount about us as a nation. It brought a tear to my eye.

Great human story with his background, his daughter there, wife expecting twins, US fella obviously made-up with silver in spite of 'losing' etc. Lovely stuff
