    Thanks Hanneke,

Another hour on the Turbo again tonight, even managed to get both hands on the bars for a minute or two but a bit sore so decided not keep doing it.

Still hoping I might be ok for the PPP CX

Rich, you should be ok. I fractured my collarbone earlier this season on the first lap of a 12 hr MTB race. Finished the race in 3rd position... and was racing a 24 hour race a month later Mind, mine wasn't complicated...

Keep them up Rich, it is for a good cause

I went out on the MTB for a couple of hours... caught some lashing rain and gale force winds on top of the ridge, climbed loads and was knackered and very muddy afterwards... must have been a good ride

Nice riding! That is quick for that circuit! And well above the speed limit too, be careful the parks constabulary doesn't get a whiff of this unofficial TT taking place... We did this sort of thing years ago once a week in summer, when I still lived in Shepherds Bush and one night we all got pulled over by them. They were stood with a speed gun trying to give us all tickets!!!

peak district cross bike ride on sunday - 36 miles, 4700 feet - so in right ball park for ppp

hadn't been off road in ages (training my strengths and all that) - so took a while to get going - still tres poor descending - going to lose a whole lot of time there i think

then tues night 10ish miles 1000ft back on win hill - carry up - different ot usual, more flowy descent - hmm still not really flowing - slowly slowly catchee (descending) monkey - die hard coward methinks.

    Good training Ratfink

I have been on the MTB, so my endurance and strength is ok. Not done much carrying practice though... Because my shoulder is so painful I keep putting it off...
