Peris Horseshoe

Lol, after second year in a row I was going to point it out to Mike but then had second thoughts. I thought it might actually be called the Peris Horsehoe so didn't say anything...

I'm told that Pedol is the Welsh for Horsehoe, and that there's a similar word in Cumbrian, very often used around the Braithwaite area!!

I don't wish anyone unwell, but, PLEASE tell me you are all finding walking as hard as me. John Wayne style is all I can manage. I can't believe I scaled 8500ft yesterday and today getting out of a chair and walking up one flight of stairs is so difficult.

Im actually not too bad today, I am normally worse on the monday but seem to be slightly better today. Must be finally building a bit of fitness up. :wink:

A) Fairly big
B) Ages since I cut it so long grass.
C) on a slight slope so knackering.
D) I was knackered anyway
E) knackered lawn mower

Pretty happy too, without some of the navigation cock ups I could probably have finished a few places higher, but that is part of the challenge of this race!!

Well Done guys

I finished next to last (not counting the DNF's), but, according to my idiosyncratic method of working out how well I did, it was my second best ever performance on an AL (bettered only at Wasdale last year, which I did off the back of BG training) so gotta be pleased :thumbup:
